Can I host from home? Connection report
A summary from the CGNAT checker: whether inbound IPv4 can reach a home connection, the port test, IPv6 and NAT type, plus what our sources say about the ISP and the ways to get a public IP.
This page shows a shared result. Open a share link from the checker, or test your own connection.
What a shared report contains
- Only coarse results: the router WAN check (CGNAT range, private, public match or mismatch), up to 3 tested ports and whether each answered, whether IPv6 worked, the NAT type hint, and which ISP from our list the connection is on.
- No IP address, location or device details. The results sit in the link after
#, which browsers don't send to any server, so this site never sees them. Nothing is stored. - Anyone can edit a link, so treat a shared report as a starting point, not proof.
