Terms on running serversLimited

Rise's AUP (risebroadband.com now redirects to riseinternet.com) has no blanket server ban, but bans hosting a web server that 'attracts excessive traffic'. Rise also says only Rise-supplied equipment may be connected.

Such prohibited actions include, but are not limited to: using the Service to host a web server site which attracts excessive traffic at your location, continuously uploading or downloading streaming video or audio, use net hosting, or continuous FTP uploading or downloading.

Source types: official the ISP's own page · official-forum ISP staff on the ISP's forum · community customer reports · secondary a third party quoting the ISP. "Unknown" means we haven't verified it, not that the answer is no.
