Does EPB Fiber use CGNAT?
Short answer: Sometimes. EPB Fiber uses CGNAT on some plans or in some areas, according to customer reports (we found no official EPB Fiber statement). Customers report you can ask to be taken off CGNAT at no charge.
Can I self-host on EPB Fiber?
| CGNAT by default? | Some plans/areas Confidence: Low: customer reports only; no official ISP statement found. Customer reports: EPB puts some residential lines behind CGNAT (some were moved there during a 2023 core upgrade), and others keep a public IPv4. EPB's public pages don't mention it.

| Terms on running servers | No explicit ban EPB's AUP (2020) and network-management practices (2024) have no server ban. EPB blocks only outbound port 25, allows one internet device on the network, and may block devices 'exhibiting behavior inconsistent with normal use'. Blocking SMTP port 25 to help control email SPAM is the only specific blocking utilized by EPB Fiber Optics.
